As a Registered Contractor using the Colorado Contractor Hub you gain access to free customer leads which are generated from the Contractor Finder hosted on the Power Ahead Colorado website. 

We've designed our search algorithm to prioritize fairness, relevance, and usefulness for both contractors and customers.

Here’s how it works:

• Google reviews: The system factors in your business’s Google rating and the number of reviews associated with your Google Maps account. High ratings and consistent customer feedback help your business stand out.
• Proximity to the customer: Searches are tailored to the location provided by the customer (such as a zip code or city), prioritizing contractors who are closer to the customer’s location.
• Response score: Fast responses create better experiences for customers. To ensure customers aren't left waiting, we factor in how quickly you respond to new leads. Contractors who consistently respond promptly are more likely to appear higher in search results.
• Randomization: To create balance and ensure equitable visibility, a small randomization component is included. This means the order of results may vary slightly for each customer, giving all contractors in a competitive area a fair chance to be seen.

How to optimize your visibility:

• Link your Google account: Ensure your Google Maps ID is connected to your business profile so reviews can be factored into your ranking.
• Encourage customer reviews: Positive reviews can significantly impact your visibility in the search results.
• Stay engaged: Regularly update your business profile to reflect accurate information about your services, certifications, and service area.
• Respond to leads quickly: Maintain a high response score by always accepting or declining leads as soon as you can. There is no penalty for declining, we'll provide the customer with other options.
